Father Christmas delivered an early Christmas present on Tuesday, a brand new electric powered van for the Broxbourne Foodbank.
The dedicated, environmentally friendly vehicle will collect an distribute food goods easily across the borough. B3Living have worked closely with the Broxbourne Foodbank for a number of years with staff and residents regularly raising money and volunteering their time for the local community.
Jeremy Pearce, from the Broxbourne Foodbank said: “What an excellent Christmas present this is it will provide extra opportunities to the Foodbank over the next few years, all down to the generosity of B3Living.”
B3Living employees also have dug deep, collecting money for a pre-Christmas food shop for the Broxbourne Foodbank.
The collection, run by B3Living employee Helen Wright and B3Living apprentices, raised over £233. The money went towards a food shop for the Foodbank, resulting in 165kg of much needed produce for local residents this festive season.
Helen Wright from the B3Living Customer Services team said: “We’re keen for the apprentices to help out as part of their development; they have been absolutely amazing in helping to raise funds and deserve every praise. As do all the staff who constantly donate and contribute their time, without which we would have nothing to give”
