On Friday 26th June Rose Dodge a B3Living Resident, celebrated her 100th Birthday in style with a party held at her home in Wormley Court. Just before her birthday Rose had returned from a cruise, which kicked off her celebration with fine dining and a speech from the Captain congratulating her on this milestone.
On the day of her Birthday Rose had her 100th birthday party at Wormley Court where her family put together a marvellous spread of food and a three tiered cake. Rose’s daughter Lyn said “Wormley Court pulled out all the stops; we could never have anticipated such warmth and love from everyone”.
The celebrations did not end there, Rose had a further party the following day, which had a 50’s and 60’s disco, followed by an operatic tenor and rock music from her own granddaughter’s band.
Rose has now booked up a two week holiday and said “I will do it while I still can”.
Kirsty Cooke, B3Living’s Independent Living Team Leader said: “Rose amazes us every day with her positive attitude and her love for living well”.
She is a true inspiration to all of us.
