To achieve our ambition of being carbon neutral by 2050, we've partnered with fellow Hertfordshire housing associations settle and Watford Community Housing.
Greener Herts is a partnership initiative that combines our efforts and hopes to define a new way of working that will benefit all our customers across Hertfordshire.
We'll be working together on projects to make Hertfordshire’s homes more sustainable. We want to play a leading role in tackling climate change and supporting the drive for net zero.
We believe it is a great advert for the sector that three outward-looking providers have come together to make a real difference in Hertfordshire and achieve more by working collaboratively.
Steve Woodcock, B3Living, Chief Executive
Across our three housing associations, we own more than 20,000 homes – so we can make a real difference by adopting more sustainable ways of working and investing in energy-efficient homes.
Greener Herts is a combined effort, bringing our resources together to achieve more.
Our brand-new Greener Herts website has just gone live! Take a look to learn all about the partnership, the exciting projects we are working on, energy-saving tips and so much more!
We will be working with our customers and setting up a Green Panel with our Greener Herts partners. We want customers to guide and influence the work we do to reach our goal of net zero.
The majority of our carbon consumption happens at home, and the UK’s homes emit more than all our cars combined. Therefore, the climate crisis cannot be solved without a coordinated effort to decarbonise housing.
Working together we can make a real difference.
