We have appointed the managing director for Network Rail Property to head our board.
David Biggs will assume the role in January 2021 having already served as a member of B3Living’s board and chair of our commercial development subsidiary, Everlea Homes.
The incoming chair has also held several executive positions at Network Rail with over 20 years’ experience working in property for both the public and private sectors.
As chair, he will replace Anne Shearman, who is due to step down in September 2020 after a decade on our board. Vice-chair Chris Fawcett will oversee during the interim period.
David Biggs said: “Knowing B3Living well, it’s exciting to be stepping into a new role. Here we put our customers at the heart of what we do, and I feel passionate about carrying that focus forward as we devise our new strategy.
“Anne has certainly set a high bar, and I’m looking forward to playing my part in the future of the organisation alongside a highly skilled board and staff.”
The Chief Executive of B3Living, Steve Woodcock, said: “My thanks also go to Anne for her exceptional support to B3Living over the years.
“I am so pleased to announce that David will be heading up our board. He brings a wealth of experience that will prove invaluable as we expand our development programme and hone our customer services.”
We manage 5,000 homes primarily within southeast Hertfordshire, serving over 10,000 customers.
