Cutting carbon is one of our seven strategic themes. But we will need help to achieve our ambition of being a carbon neutral business by 2030, which is why we're looking for someone who can help us drive significant change.
We know we can achieve more by working together with others, so we are recruiting a joint role that will lead on sustainability not just at B3Living, but also at our neighbour housing associations, Watford Community Housing and settle.
Together we own and manage around 20,000 homes in Hertfordshire, and we believe that by collaborating we can achieve more. We hope that by bringing resources together, we can potentially define a new way of working for the benefit of all our customers.
We need someone who not only has sound technical skills and experience but also someone who can inspire, create an appetite for change and really drive a new way of working. In return you will have the full support of our organisations and a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in Hertfordshire and more widely within our sector – demonstrating how collaboration and joint approaches can deliver more.
Naturally, you will bring a passion for sustainability, the ability to work across teams and the ability to deliver meaningful results. You will match this with thought leadership and be able to use your brilliant interpersonal skills to influence a wide range of partners and stakeholders. You will quickly be able to challenge our existing approaches where you see better ways of doing things and accelerate our journey accordingly.
