B3Living is the largest independent housing association in the Borough of Broxbourne, providing over 5,300 homes across Hertfordshire and Essex.  We have achieved a lot operationally over the last five years, with high customer satisfaction rates, a sector leading empty homes standard, excellent energy efficiency in our homes and exceptionally strong links with our key partners.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Asset Management and Compliance to help us deliver even more. You and your team will lead our largest capital programmes and will ensure our customers help shape our investment and deliver in a value for money and efficient way. We are looking for long term success rather than short term gain, so your attitude and approach will be key.

Who we are looking for...

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an approachable style, and the ability to inspire, support and develop others to optimise their performance. You will have experience in an asset management/compliance environment and have a good understanding of producing complex multi-year budgets and be familiar with asset appraisals.

This role requires a dynamic individual who can bring a wealth of experience and innovative thinking to our team. You will be a strong negotiator and influencer and able to work intuitively with a wide range of contractors and partners. We don’t expect you to be an expert in everything, but you will know the questions to ask and ensure that through your team we have all areas covered.

B3Living offers a wide range of flexible benefits that support a commitment to work/life balance; family-friendly policies; and wellbeing. There is also a strong commitment to personal development including training, conferences and coaching.

We are a Disability Confident employer, which means that we offer an interview to a fair and proportionate number of disabled applicants that meet the minimum selection criteria for the job.

All our vacancies are open to flexible working arrangements, something we are really proud of. We believe in the benefits of a diverse workforce and strongly welcome applications from those currently under-represented in the organisation, including LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex and asexual), and people under age 30.
