Overnight (5-6 February) there was an incident involving a fire in one flat at Grove House.
We wanted to thank residents in the surrounding flats for staying calm and following procedures to help keep everyone safe.
We were on the scene last night and have confirmed with the emergency services that the building is structurally secure.
Our priorities now are to:
- Provide any assistance needed to those supporting the people affected.
- Arrange the repairs needed
- Help the authorities with their investigations.
Events like these can be distressing and/or triggering, so if any neighbours would like to talk to someone or need support – please keep in touch with us.
There are hundreds of reasons why a fire can start, so you always need to be prepared and know what to do if something happened in your home.
