Is your radiator working harder than it should be? Or have you realised that your radiator warms up at the bottom but is cold at the top? You might need to bleed your radiator!
What happens is air can get trapped inside. The trapped air limits or stops the circulation of the warm water around your radiator.
Just remember
- Always! Turn your central heating off and let it cool down before bleeding your radiators.
- Always have a cup or rag to catch the water.
- The radiator keys are universal and can be found on Amazon for £1.59 follow the link to find Brass Air Bleed Radiator Key 5mm Clock Type Key (1, Single) : Amazon.co.uk: DIY & Tools.
- You should bleed your radiators once a year, even if they seem to be working.
