After some refurbishing, our Holdbrook Hub is finally back!
The Hub, leased by B3Living from Broxbourne Council, re-opened its doors on Monday 2 December with a ribbon cutting ceremony held by the Active in Hope Community Foundation.
Attended by Lewis Cocking MP and Broxbourne Mayor Sherrie McDaid, the Hub received a warm welcome from local leaders.
The Active in Hope Foundation offers a walk-in referral service that is open to anyone in need, providing assistance with employment, mental health resources, and upskilling opportunities.
The Hub is open Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 4:30pm.
In addition, it currently provides SIA security training for over 18s and will begin ESOL courses in January for non-English speakers.
Prior to the refurbishment, the Hub provided community services from organisations such as Citizens Advice and Communities First.
Helen Wright, B3Living’s Community Development Manager, commented:
“We are delighted that the Holdbrook Hub has finally reopened to our local community.
“I am confident that our customers and local residents will benefit from the services offered by the Active in Hope Community Foundation."
