Congratulations to our development team who have been announced as 2023 finalists in industry awards

B3Living has been shortlisted for prestigious housing industry awards in four categories, including for their work on the flagship Cheshunt Lakeside redevelopment.

The 2023 Inside Housing Awards recognise teams, housing schemes and solutions that have made a positive impact in communities across the UK.

B3Living has been nominated for four categories in the awards: Best shared ownership development, Best regeneration project (0-100 homes), Best development team (rural/suburban) and Best affordable housing development (less than £20m).

The 100% affordable scheme, Cheshunt Lakeside, featured in the awards includes 195 new homes with 83 shared ownership and 112 affordable rent homes. The new site, which was formally Tesco headquarters and 90% concrete, has been designed with ‘green corridors’, pocket parks and cycle routes – all blending in with the neighbouring Lee Valley Park.

Cheshunt Lakeside has been recognised as a remarkable development that combines affordability, high-quality specifications, sustainability, and thoughtful design, promising to enrich the lives of its residents and the surrounding community.

One of B3Living’s land-led projects, Oaklands, which delivered 60 new affordable homes in the centre of Hoddesdon, was also featured in the awards. The site was transformed from a disused brownfield site into a welcoming residential neighbourhood, including a blend of apartments and family homes.
