We have transformed this disused brownfield site into 60 homes.
Formerly the Oaklands Yard, this was primarily a light industrial site including some basic commercial buildings (used as offices) and storage containers. It was situated beside a B3Living garage site, and the two were amalgamated to maximise the potential of the development.
What has replaced the former depot is a welcoming residential neighbourhood, including a blend of apartments and family homes.
This site is one of four B3Living land-led projects that will deliver 145 new properties in the centre of Hoddesdon. Median house prices in the Borough of Broxbourne rose over £355,000 in 2020, so we are working hard to address the need for affordable homes, especially the shortage of one - three bedroom properties.
This site is located in a strategic area, adjacent to the New River Bridge improvement scheme which was also completed in 2021.
